I’m curious to the point of obsession. I read literature, philosophy and religious texts, think things through for too long, change my mind when I find a better answer, and try to understand what is worth believing and living by.

I believe religions are different attempts to recognise the same source. Christianity, Buddhism, Hindu thought, Taoism and Stoicism have all shaped the way I see God, life and death. I think they point toward the same truth, even when people misunderstand parts of it. Everything I make is, in some way, an act of praise and celebration of God.

Risk has been another teacher. Parkour, downhill riding, snowboarding, skydiving, broken bones, torn ligaments and scars have made memento mori difficult to treat as just a phrase. Life, health and the body are temporary.

I write software, paint, make music, train, meditate, read and play chess. Different disciplines, same pursuit: to become clearer, stronger, more truthful and closer to God while I’m here.
