How it is made

Every painting on this site is worked by hand in Prague, on canvas or canvas board, in acrylic, oil, pastel. No reproduction is ever sold as an original.

Materials

Acrylic
22 of 24 paintingsFast, and often worked over or under oil in the same painting.
Oil
16 of 24 paintingsSlow to dry, built up thickly. Most of the impasto in the collection is oil.
Pastel
1 of 24 paintingsDrawn rather than brushed, over bare or paint-flecked ground.
